Affordable Senior Housing |
Affordable Senior Housing | HUD 202 Program that offers rental assistance for seniors who meet the requirements of the federal program. |
Home Health Agencies | Home Care | Home Health Agencies or Home Health Care include any business entity that directly provides skilled nursing services by licensed nurses and at least one other health care service as defined in Subsection 002.22 to the patient in that patient’s place or residence. |
Hospice | Hospice | Hospice Care is a public agency or private organization or subdivisions of either of these that is primarily engaged in providing care to terminally ill individuals. |
Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facilities | Nursing | A Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility’s design and function is to provide area, space and equipment to meet the health needs of two or more elderly or disabled individuals who, at a minimum, require inpatient care and services for twenty-four or more consecutive hours. Inpatient care is necessary for unstable chronic health problems requiring daily professional nursing supervision and licensed nursing care on a twenty-four hour basis, restorative, rehabilitative care, and assistance in meeting daily living needs. Medical supervision is necessary on a regular, but not daily, basis. |
Residential Care Facility/ Assisted Living Facility | Assisted Living | Residential Care or Assisted Living Facilities for the elderly/seniors include any facility or residence, however named, operated on either a profit or non-profit basis for the purpose of providing necessary supervision, personal assistance, meals and lodging to three or more elderly adults not related to the owner. |
