Types of Housing/Care Search Definitions
Adult Day Health Care Adult Day Care An Adult Day Health Care Facility provides planned care supervision and activities, personal care, personal living skills training, meals and health monitoring in a group setting during a portion of a continuous twenty-four hour period. Adult day health services may also include preventive, therapeutic and restorative health related services that do not include behavioral health services.
Affordable Senior Housing Affordable Senior Housing HUD 202 Program that offers rental assistance for seniors who meet the requirements of the federal program.
Assisted Living Assisted Living Assisted Living Facility is a residential care institution, including an adult foster care home, that provides or contracts to provide supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services on a continuous basis. Types of Assisted Living Facilities include Adult Foster Care Homes (AFC) a residential setting that provides room and board and adult foster care services for at least one and no more than four adults, Assisted Living Homes (ALH) an assisted living facility that provides resident rooms to ten or fewer residents and Assisted Living Centers (ALC) an assisted living facility that provides resident rooms or residential units to eleven or more residents.
Custodial Home Care Home Care  Custodial Home Care-Non-Medical Home Care Business Providers assisting individuals with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and a physician’s order is not needed to have non-medical home care services. ADL’s are routine activities that most people take for granted and  that people tend do everyday without needing assistance. There are six basic ADL’s: eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking) and continence. When people are unable to perform these activities, they need help in order to cope, either from Caregivers or mechanical devices or both.
Home Health Agency Home Care A Home Health Agency provides elderly care by meeting all of the following requirements:

-Primarily engaged in providing skilled nursing services and other therapeutic services. -Has policies established by a group of professional personnel (associated with the agency or organization) including one or more physicians and one or more registered professional nurses. These govern the services referred to in subdivision, which it provides, and provides for supervision of such services by a physician or registered professional nurse.
-Maintains clinical records on all patients.

Hospice Service Agency Hospice Hospice Service Agency is an agency or organization, or a subdivision of that agency or organization, which is engaged in providing hospice care services at the place of residence of its clients.
Nursing Care Institutions Nursing Nursing Care Institutions provide services pertaining to the curative, restorative and preventive aspects of nursing care. These services are performed at the direction of a physician by or under the supervision of a registered nurse licensed in this state.
