Persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia frequently exhibit behaviors that are difficult to understand, manage and treat. Perhaps the most challenging is when the patient acts out with physical or verbal aggression. This program will help professionals understand and prevent these behaviors. The program will alos offer strategies for minimizing and eliminating aggressive behavior, increasing quality of life for the patient and making the caregiving experience less stressful for families.
