This series of four interactive workshops is designated to empower caregivers with tools, techniques, and knowledge to provide expert care for loved ones with dementia. Based on methods pioneered by dementia care experts, Teepa Snow and Naomi Feil, and presented by Steve Catoe, Certified PAC Trainer and Certified Validation Worker, the events are not to be missed!
August 14 – Positive Approach to Care Part 1: Normal Aging vs. Not Normal Aging
August 21 – Positive Approach to Care Part 2: Positive Physical Approach and Hand Under Hand
August 28 – Positive Approach to Care Part 3: Teepa’s GEMS; Using Skills that Make a Difference
September 4 – Communication Skills: Using the Feil Method of Validation
