Our retirement communities offer seniors the opportunity to live in beautiful, comfortable and secure surroundings while enjoying the freedom of an independent lifestyle. We have created environments that offer the opportunity to make new friends, the enjoyment of social interaction and a chance to live in an environment with others who share common interests and life experiences.

Each of our retirement campuses offers the convenience of all-inclusive monthly rental fee programs. Amenities and services provided include: restaurant-style dining, housekeeping and linen services, scheduled transportation, in-house activity programs, paid utilities and 24-hour emergency call systems.

Assisted Living

As a pioneer in senior living, Health Care Group began offering Assisted Living services more than ten years ago before it became a major focus of many senior care providers. Assisted Living provides residential living and primary care for seniors who need daily assistance and support but do not require the intense level of care offered in a skilled nursing facility. Assisted Living programs managed by Health Care Group provide comfortable, home-like environments. Residents are encouraged to retain their independent abilities while receiving assistance in performing activities of daily living.

ActivCare® - Residential Alzheimer’s Care

Our commitment to the best and the most appropriate living environments led to the creation of ActivCare® - Residential Alzheimer’s Care. As a specialized residential program, Activate® was developed to meet the unique needs of residents with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. The tenets of ActivCare® are to provide a home-like, secure setting where residents can maintain a high level of self-esteem and dignity while building on their individual needs and strengths to increase their quality of life. Each resident is offered an enjoyable, non-judgemental atmosphere that instills safety and provides the flexibility for individual participation. To assure the success of the program, each ActivCare® staff member is selected for their caring and compassionate characteristics and then provided with specialized training to equip them with a complete understanding and appreciation for these special residents.

Skilled Nursing Care

The skilled nursing care centers managed by Health Care Group serve the needs of seniors and their families with the finest in 24-hour professional nursing care and innovative patient care programs. Whether the need for care is short- or long-term, each skilled nursing center offers personalized, attentive nursing care, comfortable surroundings, high staff-to-patient ratios, excellent dietary programs and activities designed for the specialized needs of skilled nursing patients. Geriatric rehabilitation programs play a major role in each of the skilled nursing centers. Physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as audiology services, can add to or assist in maintaining many patients’ quality of life, many times providing the patient with the strength and confidence to return home.
