Áegis of Dana Point consists of 64 apartments with 14 reserved for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia. Áegis’ nationally recognized program, Life’s Neighborhood, creates a world of days gone by where residents find comfort in an environment they remember. Life’s Neighborhood features residential apartments with home-like common areas supported by 24-hour activities and high staff to resident ratios. Specially designed life skill stations and a multi-sensory room called Life’s Haven help residents recall comforting memories.
