Sivitz Jewish Hospice is a nonprofit organization staffed by professionals and volunteers who are trained to understand Jewish values and traditions. They are sensitive to the unique needs of Jewish patients and their families. However, many of our patients are not Jewish. As part of a faith-based organization, Sivitz also understands the needs and customs of different ethnic and religious groups and their rituals for dealing with death and dying.
