Big Bend Woods Healthcare Campus is designed to meet two separate needs of the Senior population. The 97-bed long term care division accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private pay and many insurances. In-house services include podiatry, dental and vision care. The newly renovated 13-bed S.T.A.R. (short term accelera­ted recovery) Unit offers intense rehab for seniors needing skilled care before returning home. In-house services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with wound care and I.V. management. S.T.A.R. Care accepts Medicare, private, and many insurances.
