Started by local residents in 1979, the community is consistently recognized for its financial stability, quality healthcare, and resident participation in over 50 committees that plan on-campus concerts, lectures, and other stimulating activities. Independent living cottages and apartments are situated on 120 wooded acres near UNC and Duke University. Offering the area’s only on-site children’s center.
