Home Health agency-means an agency or organization, or a subdivision of such an agency or organization, which meets all of the following requirements. a. Is primarily engaged in providing skilled nursing services and other therapeutic services. b. Has policies, established by a group of professional personnel, associated with the agency or organization, including one or more physicians and one or more registered professional nurses, to govern the services referred to in subdivision, which it provides, and provides for supervision of such services by a physician or registered professional nurse. c. Maintains clinical records on all patients. |

Hospice service agency-means an agency or organization, or a subdivision of that agency or organization, which is engaged in providing hospice services at the place of residence of its clients. |
| Residential Care Institutions |

Residential care institution-means a health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident beds and health-related services for persons who do not need inpatient nursing care. Residential care institutions shall not include: a. Facilities for the mentally retarded except that any other class of health care institution in such facility shall be appropriately licensed. b. Penal or correctional facilities maintained and operated by the state or a political subdivision thereof except that any other class of health care institution in such facility shall be appropriately licensed. c. Foster homes or child welfare agencies operated under a pen-nit from the Department of Economic Security except that any other class of health care institution in such facility shall be appropriately licensed. d. A facility owned or rented as a personal residence in which health-related services may incidentally be provided among family members. |

Nursing care institutions-means those services pertaining to the curative, restorative and preventive aspects of nursing care that are performed at the direction of a physician by or under the supervision of a registered nurse licensed in this state. |
| Adult Day Health Care Facility |

Adult day health care services-means a program that provides planned care supervision and activities, personal care, personal living skills training, meals and health monitoring in a group setting during a portion of a continuous twenty-four hour period. Adult day health services may also include preventive, therapeutic and restorative health related services that do not include behavioral health services. |

Means a residential care institution, including adult foster care, that provide or contracts to provides supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services on a continuing basis. Assisted living center or center-means as assisted living facility that provides resident rooms or residential units to eleven or more residents. |

Means a residential care institution, including adult foster care, that provides or contracts to provides supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services on a continuing basis. Assisted living home or home-means an assisted living facility that provides resident rooms to ten or fewer residents. |
| Supportive Residential Living Center |

Supportive Staff means any individual who receives compensation from licensee, but who does not provide supervisory care services, personal care services, or directed care services at an assisted living facility. Supportive services do not require a physician order and shall be provided in accordance with agency policies. Supportive services may include a personal care attendant who is employed by the agency to provide personal care services. |
